Northeast of hickory near alexander county line. grass is whitened up and temp is down to 34 from 39 1 hour ago. it's gonna be crazy around here tomorrow morning. all this is going to freeze on the roads overnight.:axe:

I would gladly take it. My hopes ride on a stray snow shower tonight.

It's been flurries/light snow here all day in Marietta, GA. (NW ATL Suburbs). I was just out and the heaviest snow of the day is currently falling. We already have a light dusting on the ground, looking to pick up a tad more with the band moving through now. Very happy to be seeing it today!

About 5 miles south of Marietta and nada!

there is a stray band that keep redeveloping from shelby up towards wilkesboro. kinda of a freak event. just getting lucky it appears.

I was talking with SBUWX and he was noticing what could be an 850 trough that could help us out. Looks like some returns appearing in NW SC.

The snow here has let-up considerably. We are at a dusting. Still a ways to go w/ this system though. Things are just getting started IMO. Wind chill: 18 F.

Very light snow/flurries now with temperature at 25 F and wind at 10 mph. We have a very light dusting here at the moment. Talked with a friend who lives in northwestern part of county and they seemed to have done better than me. Look for things to pick up for us in the overnight hours.

Actually, after that really good burst, the clouds thinned out some. I think it's slowly starting to play out. I'm beginning to wonder how much snow some of you in SW NC are going to get.

Really nice fetch of moisture up in middle Tennessee headed right for us.....just don't think it can make down to our area with the mtns in between. Hopefully we can get under just the right band and have a nice dusting.
