I really cannot believe I am stuck at work! Snowing quite hard in Marietta. After 20 minutes of this, the rooftops are white.

Maybe someone can answer this: Why is it that the harder it snows, the more traffic comes out? We all know these folks in Georgia can't drive in the rain. Much less any frozen precip!

Ahhh...but they think they can. That is the key. They are all from out of state. Native Georgians go where they ain't playing bumper cars :) T

I think the same is true here. I think it is because since snow is rare people want to be out in it. I know when we had the clipper I was in Raleigh and saw a few wrecks on wet roads. I am convinced people were distracted looking at the flakes and rear-ended the guy in front of them.

Skies have turned partly cloudy and the wind is starting to stir a little bit. My thermometer says 45.8, lol. but I know that is wrong. I need to get a new one anyway. I'll start re-posting temps again as soon as it gets dark because it's more accurate at night anyway.

Yeah I had a nice dusting on top of my car...then a massive wind gust blew it all off :axe:

Yeah definitely windy out there! Looks like the best snowshower activity went to our south. With the temp already down to 30 I would imagine it wouldn't take much to get some slick spots on the road.

Actually that reading is pretty much in line with other reports in your area. Saw a couple of readings of 46. It may not be that far off.
