This is how good snows should be...only about thirty minutes and almost have a dusting..forgot what it was like when the ground was cold enough by the time a storm got here! To bad this is only a few flurries.

That band is almost pulsating on radar with a new burst up stream, we will see.

I was wondering where my GA folks were. Still flurrying here, hopefully I'll get into that heavier band you're under.

still here, but been going outside to watch the snow :snowman: i am hoping that the impressive looking band in n central ga holds together to mby :devilsmiley: but its going to be close. its been snow on and off here since about 1230 today

Very tiny flurry flakes here is south western stanly county.

My brother is in Northern Stanly near the rowan county line and says they have a dusting and moderate snow is falling

I was wondering about that as the terminal doppler radar out of CLT has shown a persistent band over northern Cabarrus, and Stanly counties.

Robert, look up Sanyo eneloop batteries. It's a fairly new hybrid technology called low self discharge that allows for much longer shelf life than regular NiMHs. Supposed to be much better for digital cameras. Read up on them. You can get a set of 4 with charger for less than $20 at Amazon (and other online retailers.)

NiMh should be fine in any digital camera. If Robert has gotten poor performance with all those different batteries using the same charger perhaps the charger has gone bad and is not giving a full charge.
