Ellinwood
Done and done... kept it within my 15-21" original prediction We'll see how well that holds up.

Ian
Done and done... kept it within my 15-21" original prediction We'll see how well that holds up. I'm sticking with my 25-30" since I mentioned it during the summer. I'm pretty confident I'll be wrong but let's go for the gold.

Ian
Ian..,how come your only wrong when you forecast more snow? I've almost exclusively focused on nowcasting and short range. I'd bet I'm as good as just about anyone on those things. I barely understand stuff like the QBO etc. I'm slowly trying to learn but it's not a top priority. I guess I should just play the avg with a little ENSO mixed in.

mattie g
I can't see DCA being anything but a couple inches within average. I went with 19.5". No reason to guess low. I would have gone a few inches above average at IAD.

usedtobe
I guessed a little over 14". I guessed 14.2 as my guess for the winter is 11-16 so I sort of picked a number within that range. Anyone forecasting above normal and hitting is going strongly against climo. we have lots more years below the average than above. Still I bet around the average and a little above the median which makes me a stupid optimist.
