CoastalWx
From the Locks of Love website ... GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS Hair that is colored or permed is acceptable. Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid. Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable. If unsure, ask your stylist. We are not able to accept bleached hair due to a chemical reaction that occurs during the manufacturing process. **If the hair was bleached years ago and has completely grown out it is fine to donate. Hair that is swept off of the floor is not usable because it is not bundled in a ponytail or braid. Hair that is shaved off and not in a ponytail or braid is not usable. If shaving your head, first divide hair into multiple ponytails to cut off. We cannot accept dreadlocks. Our manufacturer is not able to use them in our children’s hairpieces. We also cannot accept wigs, falls, hair extensions or synthetic hair. Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 10 inches. Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails. Curly hair may be pulled straight to measure the minimum 10 inches. 10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece. LOL. Looks like low was 32.2 here. powderfreak
Very nice upslope snow. Downy goodness. Yep we are back in the snow globe... its like feather dust and the sun comes out from time to time. Beautiful. Going on like 12 hours of flurries with 1/4" to show for it, lol. Its that time of year with constant snow, heavier at times, flurries when not steady. Daily snows.
HoarfrostHubb
Snowmaking is probably running full tilt at all the ski resorts in New England today... at least it should be. We've got a 90 gun salute in progress right now... just absolutely plastering two routes with a snow gun every 50ft on both sides of the trails. Looks very impressive from down in town with the plumes rising off the ridgeline. HKDs, Fan Guns, Towers... they're all going at capacity right now. Gotta take care of what mother nature won't; light upslope won't cut it right now. Got a good view of snowmaking from my drive on Rte 2. They have shut down for now, but looks like some opportunities for more over the next week... This is from their website today

Constant flakeage to set the holiday mood. Typical pre T-day weather. Hunter's love having a little snow on the ground to track in. Upslope FTW. The hammer will drop hard. "its snowing!" haha the definition of "mood snow." We have full sun right now and steady light snow... this snow is blowing quite a bit downwind of the parent cloud over the mountain, haha. Brian5671
December could still end up cold...it just probably won't start very cold. The question there will be how strong is the warmth? +10 or +12 departures (if we get them) would be hard to wipe out. Of course a well timed blizzard like last year and all will be forgiven. No one remember's JB's call for a white X-mas that did not verify last year since we got nailed shortly thereafter.

HoarfrostHubb
Just checking the PDFamily meso site and then Wunderground. The station I look at in Hubbardston did not hit 40... it did get to 39.9F, which I know is technically 40, but not seeing the 40 is nice... It only got to 37 or so on Oct 30, but then we have been torching

powderfreak
Inferno sunday, above normal tomorrow, rain midweek, and an absolutel BLOWTORCH first ten days of December, bad decision by wa wa kiss that snow goodbye That man-made snow is pretty durable... lasts a lot longer than natural. Stowe's now got a top-to-bottom white ribbon from snowmaking... Sunday looks warm but then 24 hour snowmaking returns Sunday night through Thanksgiving at least. Plus the flurry parade continues... flakes in the air in some capacity off and on now for 24 hours.
ski MRG
Inferno sunday, above normal tomorrow, rain midweek, and an absolutel BLOWTORCH first ten days of December, bad decision by wa wa kiss that snow goodbye Box has consistently rolled back temps for Sunday here and next week features continued chances for snow. You are also counting on verification of a forecast out beyond 20 days. Dubious. Also, early season snowmaking efforts aren't likely to be erased even in a hostile pattern. Man made snow has real staying power especially at this time of year.
