ski MRG
and last night i had posted about wanting to go camping way out the woods so i could get snowed on...and you never got back to me Sorry Diane, I didn't see that. I like sleeping on snow because it forms around you like a tempurpedic bed does. Lots of hunters in the woods right now. I think it is bear season. HIPPYVALLEY
39/28 Nice cool, crisp November night. Got the first wood fire in a week going. Nice to get the house up to 75 F w/o help from the furnace! When I was out playing with the wood pile around 8pm there were stray snow flakes mixed with ice pellets every time we got a good breeze. I'll go with Pete's philosophy in so much as I think there is a big winter incoming. Big, big winter!

Mama or papa came by on tuesday night and bent my neighbors cast iron bird feeder into a U. then stood up and looked into her living room! She called here in a panic to let me know not to go outside w/ the dog. I was outside in about 30 seconds w/ flashlight in hand hoping to grab a glimpse but missed it. We've been getting harrassed by two wayward cows the last month. Becoming very brazen: during the Halloween storm they walk across the deck. Yesterday morning they threatened to do the same but altered course at the last moment. Plus, you never know when you're going to come across a cowpie. The leaves tend to hide them so lots of messy shoes. 31.5/26 off of 31.4.

It got down to 29 on 10/28, but the ASOS crapped out during the storm. Might have been 29 or so during that day. Last weekend was weird in that the burbs radiated like mad. MVY got to 19F. CoastalWx
We have hit the upper teens a few times but I can't remember ORH getting below 29 I don't think they did either. We haven't had a true cold blast to really cool off KORH since they are more prone to strong cold air advection events.
Allenson
LOL--we put our tree up some time during the first couple weeks of December and it usually stays up till March. We put it in a cold three-season room with big windows that we can see from the main part of the house--so, it doesn't dry out for a long time. Having copious balsam firs around here, there's no need to go out and buy one--simply ski out into the woods, pick one out and drag it back to the house. Tis a yearly ritual here. Snowed here last night. Got an inch on the ground this morning.
