CoastalWx
What? I don't see a change to winter, other than transient cold shots. It's getting there, but a TRUE change probably won't come until near or likely after Thanksgiving.

You're slowly coming around..The tone of your posts has changed from no cold at all until after the holiday to some cold and a change "probably" won't come. The paattern from middle of next week on looks below normal LOL, I haven't changed...the time around T-Day has been mentioned countless times. I don't consider cold shots in November a pattern change. I still think a change to more winter like stuff isn't until after T-Day. You're reading into DT's tweets too much. The pattern in North America is changing, but it will be a little while before we reap the benefits here in SNE.

weatherwiz
I agree, not until at least Thanksgiving until we see a transition colder weather which is longer lasting and not one or two day cold.

weathafella
A month of stepping down??? Yes. Each step will being a longer lasting cold spell but a torch will be near for and we'll probably average AOA normal for the next 30 days. The 60 thereafter IMHO will be solidly below normal.
