famartin
Impressive for October for sure, and certainly a good early season KU, but there's no way that this is a HECS that will be compared to January 96, PDII, Feb 1978, or Dec 2010. But its not December, January or February. Can't compare this to them. Besides, if this WAS one of those months, there would've been 1-3 feet of snow along I-95. JBG
Yeah KU has an early and late season section, which it definitely qualifies for comparing it to the other events in there. Impressive for October for sure, and certainly a good early season KU, but there's no way that this is a HECS that will be compared to January 96, PDII, Feb 1978, or Dec 2010. The most relevant comparison to my mind would be the Yom Kippur storm of October 1987. The snow line that time barely made it to Putnam County, but caused similarly profound tree damage in places like Albany.
