wxsniss
Man NYC going nuts with S+ and NWS still with an advisory, rain for most of afternoon and later mixing with and changing to snow... major busts on the low side up and down coast today are looking likely this bodes very well for us in boston metro, again assuming we will scour out the upper 40s quickly

ineedsnow
TONIGHT...LOW PRESSURE WILL BOMB OUT AS IT PASSES SOUTHEAST OF NANTUCKETOVERNIGHT. HIGH CONFIDENCE IN STORM FORCE WINDS ACROSS ALL OPENWATERS. IN FACT...THE OCEAN TEMPERATURES STILL IN THE 50S WILLSUPPORT EXCELLENT MIXING AND RESULT IN SOME GUSTS REACHING 60 KNOTS.SEAS ACROSS OUR EASTERN OUTER-WATERS WILL PROBABLY REACH AROUND 25FEET. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM AND MARINERS SHOULD BE IN PORT.

HIPPYVALLEY
When i was in town getting supplies almost everyone I spoke to had major doubts that this storm would be as bad as advertised. There are going to be a lot of people caught off guard, especially in the cities.
DomNH
Might be able to hit the upper end of the 6-12'' range if it's more powdery and avoid power problems at the same time. Hope that happens.
