CT Rain
Oh god.... Bdl slant sticked their way to 20.3. Anyone in the area have any more totals??? Only think I can think is that there could have been soooo much compaction they were able to total 20" but the max depth was 14 or so??? Either way it seems high. ChrisM
You measure every 6 hours? I fell asleep and measured in the morning, I guess it could have compacted. How much can it really compact though? More than a couple of inches?

HoarfrostHubb
Thinking about taking a weenie drive to the ORH area today. Up here it has really compacted/melted My high that I recorded for otg was 22", now my stick says 13" The snowbanks are like cement, though. On the sides of my little street, they are 3 to 4 feet high.

Would it be safe to assume I had 20" after a measured 18 for my seasonal running total?

Yeah probably if you had 18" otg at the end had you cleared at 6p, midnight, and measured again at end you'd probably have a few more inches. I'm about 4 miles inland and had 4 inches....
