JoeD
Folks - Quick post on a busy night but for those in RI/Eastern MA we're looking at potential of sig trop fold (18z NAM shows this) not unlike that of Dec 2007...possible high winds and blinding snows. We'll see!
moneypitmike
There's going to be some big numbers put up here in the Berkshires. Haven't heard from Mitch in a while. He may be out of the power game. After today, I think I need a Circle of Trust emblem! I just realized my anemmometer must have frozen--the wind was just howling and I saw it read "calm". havent' had a wind reading since 3:00. That sucks. Of great importance, my ruler still works! JJBASHB
Lost power for a few minutes but don't expect anything worse. The snow is blowing off faster than it's accumulating. 10" on the deck. 8-9 on the grass.
dan11295
Measured 1.4" at 720 pm. From radar I dont think the snowgrowth has been the best in my area since we flipped though.

mahk_webstah
went with average on picnic table and car.. I think you're at 600'? I'm at 400, so 200' may make a difference And.. last measurement, same spots 4.5", so as soon as I complained, now exceeding 3"/hr picking up a bit here, seems to be better snow growth. 2.75 inches down....fluffy

moneypitmike
BOX reiussed the warning for 12-16". I think a few of their zones will be passing that shortly. Lights just flashed here. Given the powder, didn't think that would be an issue. Must be the lines down below. Wind's howling though.

Ginx snewx
I just took several measurements in my front yard. Ranged from a low of 11" to a high of 13.5" I figure some of those higher spots had 2 or 3 inches from the old snow. Call it 9" new. Maybe 10? AIT lol congrats

dendrite
The band has stalled just to my south Seriously though, Monadnocks FTW 31.2F with SN/+SN here. Sanbornton, Canterbury, and CON have been down to 1/4SM. It's been mostly 25-30dBZ. I'm hoping that band can creep just a little more northward. wxeyeNH
Sharp cutoff of QPF amounts in Central NH. I am just south of Plymouth and just very light snow 29.5F. Been snowing for 2 1/2 hours and I have an 1". Meh... Looks like models had the NW extent of precip too far NW, No way am I getting .5 to .75". Good luck to you guys down south. I think I am more than an inch an hour though. If you look at the big radar we are in a band that connects directly to the mega band over nw mass and se ny. That end of the band though has enhanced echoes. Maybe we stay in this band and as the storm strengthens we start to get the darkest greens and yellow.
