moneypitmike
Already more than half of the way to ALYs MAX snowfall amount they expected here. Called for 15" max, I think we hit that with relative ease. How many more hours do we thump for down here, anyone? I just measured 8" in less than 3 hours!! HIPPYVALLEY
Oops. Lost power for a bit but I'm back on. Ripping here at my lowly 400', can't imagine what it's doing up in the hills. Keep a browser window open in the National Grid outage page - it's fun watching the little crossed out bulbs become more and more numerous. Clinch Leatherwood
Snow line just about made it into Bristol County...will likely stop right there for a bit. It's Cape Anne...the fetch that's allowing it to change. Will need a northerly component to allow the areas effected by Boston Harbor to changeover (Bristol County)

Typhoon Tip
Temps plummeted between Ayer and Clinton Mass... It was 34F when I left there at 3:50pm with moderate wet snow... It was 32 in borderline s+ at the intersection for route 110 and 117 at ~ 4:15. It is now 5 pm in Clinton and it is 31F here with S/S+ ...about 2 inches. One interesting observation, when we had a wind gust a few minutes ago snow was blowing off the roof next door - not a lot but a little. That could be a saving grace if the temps continue down into the upper 20s as this unfolds. We hae superior stickage to the trees so far though, and there is some branch sagging going on around the neighborhood. No power flickers yet. Just a winter wonderland out there right now. Pinch me!
