No coating here across Cheltenham Av but moderate snow maybe with a bit of rain mixed in.

Am 2 miles south of Cheltenham Ave and all of the houses that I can see all around Wyndmoor across from me have deciduous and evergreen trees, grass, and roofs getting coated. The streets are still wet though. I can imagine if the temp drops to freezing and what it might do to the tree branches with this wet snow on them... :axe: I think since the ground is still pretty warm, it won't hang around. *crossing fingers*

Good to see another Palmer resident on here, I think that makes 3 of us. Anyway, I concur with your obs and am hoping the heavy bands to our south pivot to the north. Should be an interesting afternoon. Watching the Rutgers and Penn St games should also be fun.

By the way, I have to rely on your pics to send to the family in the south because my wife has the camera and she is out of town

Gotta love the general public. I post on a couple other boards, and I advised folks in a football forum that were talking about the storm that if they live in the areas the storm is having effect on, be prepared for a possible extended power outage.

As of 739, someone I post with in the Lehigh Valley area said to me "Southeast PA won't get much snow...it's raining now and all the Snow will be north."

Well, I see that literally like 45 minutes later Allentown flipped to Snow, and are now having moderate to heavy snow....

I hope people are prepared for this, because week long power outages don't seem to be out of the question at all.
