pazzo83
major pivoting on radar. the CCB is developing overhead Goodnight folks.
earthlight
Almost looks like a gravity wave off Atlantic City, NJ. Appears that way. Most impressive is the convective type development associated with extreme lift. As this moves north the NAM and high res models have very impressive frontogenic forcing and deformation over a widespread area. We are in a perfect position to receive a 3 hour blitz of snow with potentially near blizzard conditions in spots given the mid level centers and developing cold conveyor belt overhead. The warmer waters offshore will surely help to create a more robust development.

Northwest NJ
Sparta, NW NJ Great picture. I'm also in Sussex County in the Vernon Hardyston area and it is really ripping. The sun is getting lower and it is now accumulating much faster. I would say i have about 5-6 inches.
NYsnowlover
Over to rain here. Time to sit back and wait for the real games tonight... Lucky, I have stinging sleet, I was hoping for a bit of a lull so I could chop up some kindling, but I will have to do that in my basement. earthlight
You'll notice the echoes over Northwest New Jersey are now streaming from southwest to northeast. A classic radar signature prior to maturation of a deformation band. Subsidence will be somewhere, though. Watch closely the next half hour.
