gkrangers
Banding is filling in nicely southwest of PHL. That'll all rotate through later.
tmagan
places closer to the south shore have already. HWV is now 37 and FOK was in the lower 40s is now 37. Part of what we are dealing with is loss of snow growth with the impending dryslot. Deeper convection will overcome this, and once the deform band comes in it should be cold enough for all snow Well, also at this time we are dealing with warming from about eight to ten thousand feet as well, which is leading to the p-type variety across Nassau and Queens. CAT5ANDREW
not sure why Upton is so agressive for the NYC area, save the NW bronx 6-10 inches is a very low porbability. If we did not get a single flake more from this storm,it was already something I never experienced in my lifetime and I wont soon forget it. earthlight
Everyone should look at the KDOV radar loop. assuming you meant DOX. Explosive development occurring there. The low levels are starting to kick and the mid level centers are strengthening. This is going to rip.

SnoSki14
This CCB better be good lol I hate this sleet When has a CCB not been good? It always delivers, it definitely has for the past few storms, heights crash, winds rapidly pick up, and the snow is heavy and steady, even very heavy delivering prolific snowfall rates. SnowGoose69
Guessing there will be a deformation band for sure, just not seeing any indications yet of it being anything insane by any means, but as it drops Se towards the coast we may see a few mesoscale bands form. I'm going with snow ending time in NYC right now of 0230Z
