OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a huge tree just came crashing down right outside my house and is blocking my stairs, if i walked out 20 seconds before i would not be here right now. and this is only 2"!!!

We have about 2.5" here and we have 5 major branches down on our property (only 1/4 acre) already. Seriously, this is a big risk for folks - I recall a guy getting killed in CPK last winter by a falling limb. Snow not falling as heavily now, but more to come...

wow!! :stun:

this is beyond historic then.....didn't realize how historic this was!!!

thanks for the info.

enjoy the snow everyone, and keep the pics coming :snowman:

How could it be Historic if it's happening right now.

This will make every other early season snow you expierience in life seem like a lame bust.

Classic.

During Irene,I came within 45 seconds of having 2 trees and a streetlamp potentially fall onto the car as a tornado came through.Only a red light saved me.A storm like this is going to do a lot of tree damage with falling tree limbs fallng onto cars.

Even an inch or 2 on the trees and the wind is going to cause some serious damage tonight,

It won't take much with all the leaves still on the trees. Then will have to contend with the strong winds

later as the low really winds up offshore.

The big tree you see in these photos is going soon everywhere is cracking and falling(this last picture) big branch was sitting on the front stairs missed me by inches. There also is another huge tree down around the house that i cant get too due to this tree cracking and snaping every 2 seconds.
