FoothillsNC
Here is the tornado in Rock Hill http://www.wcnc.com/...html?img=3&mg=t wild photo. I think that cell came over my neighborhood. I have been so swamped with other stuff, the weather took a distant second, which almost never happens. Very active night, this reminds me of April again. I'm looking forward to sunshine and cooler weather now.

tgarren
i live about 20 miles east of the damage in davidson county. i was coming home from work in greensboro down 220 around the same time the store was entering randolph county. you would have never been able to tell there was a storm coming that could do damage. i was following it best i could on grlevel3 with my laptop tethered to my phone lol. i had some where i had to be at 7 or i would have probably done a little chasing and got some pics. looks like it rolled across 220 about 5 minutes after i came through randleman. i was actually pumping gas at the exact time the tornado damage occured just south of randleman and was only 5 miles away weird. FoothillsNC
Another round of heavy rain coming through now. This makes 4 really good rounds of heavy rain. Almost as heavy as any Summer storm. Plus 4 separate incidents of thunder. This might be it for the system for me.

Gastonwxman
Looks like I'll be getting one more round of heavy rain before this is all said and done. I'm up to .91" so we'll see if I can reach the 1" mark. Other than the torrential rain from earlier this morning and a shower that came through during the early afternoon, I haven't had any storms come through here. They were all either west or south of me so at least I avoided receiving any damaging storms. Feel sorry for the folks who were slammed hard. Hopefully our friends further east won't have to put up with too much from the storms.
