Buckeye05
Oddly enough, when looking at Google Maps images of Clark Rd in Lexington, NC (where the damage is being reported), you can see clear tornado damage from when the aerial images were taken a few years ago. It looks like this same area has been hit twice. Check it out it is really interesting.
buckeyefan1
Flooding reports showing up on my Facebook for Mooresville. A industrial storm on my parents land overflowed sending a river of water into Lake Norman. Not looking forward to going home tomorrow and clearing up the yard damage. I hope Wow and Meow are ok It looks like the storms are lining up as they head toward the coast.
dsaur
I hear thunder I think you are supposed to get in the closet Do they still have sirens up there? The only place I ever lived that had a siren. Hope they do, and you stayed safe! 69 here, so not a lot of change, but the breeze feels cooler now the sun is way down. Yes, and 90 miles away from the closest radar.. except for the TWDR in Charlotte, but it wasn't displaying properly just a blank purple area over the rotation zone. Transformer blew by the house right when Wow got home with the babies. Meow called about 4:00 my time checking on radar as she was on her way home. Just hellacious cg lighting. Lots of water she said though. The creek that runs by the golf course is out of its banks.

andyhb
We may see close to 20 tornado reports today, perhaps even over that. I wouldn't be surprised if this thing in Davidson County, NC is something quite significant, along with that potential long-tracked one in Central/E AL (Auburn) across parts of GA. No problem. They've got power and she's back home after a short jaunt out. Did not appreciate her bragging to mom about all her rain while I sit here in drought city. I've been up there during one of y'alls storms. The sound that wind makes coming through the trees can be as frightening as our hurricane winds here. I'm always surprised you don't get more downed power lines up there with all the huge trees. Stay safe! Suz
