It's starting to thunder here in Stephens Co & very dark. It's been raining off & on for several hours now.

hang on its on the way lol. i just got home after driving from stephens to habersham. it is absolutely pouring, the roads are covered in water (my antiskid light on the dash kept coming on, it hardly ever does that). a lot of wind and driving rain....now the water logged streets are covered in wet leaves. lovely drive home today lmao

Hey guys! We had a LOT of damage across our viewing area... Auburn/Opelika got pummeled... Harris county High School had some damage but they are all okay. Harris County EMS building was basically destroyed! Their Jail suffered damage... Highway signs bent 90 degrees. Ridiculous! If you want, if it doesn't harm the standards on this board here.. .There are a few pictures and videos on our Facebook page....

It was over quite quickly. It did get so dark in the house I had to turn on a light to read.

YUP! On air for almost 2 hours! Bouncing back and forth between the chief while I covered Social Media. What a day.... haha That cell was RELENTLESS!!!!! Quite a bit of damage coming out of Auburn/Opelika AND Hamilton.... Haven't heard of anyone hurt or injured! That's good because it hit Harris County High School AND went through Auburn/Opelika!!! hopefully it stays that way...

Listening to a scanner feed of Harris county. Seems like a lot of trees down in the county, they want people to stay at the high school instead of leaving.

Wow, well you had a very active day then, must have been very exciting to be on live TV while that was happening. I'm glad to hear nobody got killed (as of now). I have a few family members who live in the Opelika area, I have not heard damage reports from them yet.
