CoastalWx
i'll be interested to see the individual members...for mid-week and for the later down the road. would be great to sneak some precip out during mid/late week - though it's probably not likely Yeah, I like that sign. dryslot
GFS ensembles def more amped up than OP run. Good,I accept that trend, We need something to break our way here soon ........

CoastalWx
The low on the mean must have some members that slow down east of sne. There is a nice hang back trough through hr 204.

weathafella
Here's another red flag. Nogaps is digging at 120 hours. That's as far as I see it so far...
MaineJayhawk
Nice to see the GFS back ots where it belongs at this time range. Agree with the Rev ...I want to see the Euro give us a forearm shiver at 12z. Red flag but not death knell if it doesn't.
Damage In Tolland
We just need the Euro to rip it over E Ma again..Not too much to ask

weathafella
NGP far more amplified and actually gives us a decent snow event as a 984 low goes outside the BM. Considering its bias, I'd toss the GFS op.. Red flag.

weathafella
So the less reliable models are more amped vs GFS. Nogaps which is always out to see gives eastern NE a snowstorm as does CMC. Wonder what UKMET thinks....
CoastalWx
A John Deere juggernaut for Cweat.

MaineJayhawk
I'd be satisfied with the Canadian as well. I don't need a bomb to kick off shovelable season.

Mr Torchey
3 very real snow threats by xmas. 2010 is almost over, the elephant has left the building, I think its about as good as a pattern could be for sne in a nina in December.
dryslot
I'd be satisfied with the Canadian as well. I don't need a bomb to kick off shovelable season. Logan11
IMO the red flag was yesterdays, 12z and todays 0z and 6z GFS. I'm not the least bit surprised that the 12z GFS has now lost it and if history is precedent it will probably bring it back in a few days.... The question is how far west does it bring it back...hopefully not all the way to western NY like this past storm. LOL NGP far more amplified and actually gives us a decent snow event as a 984 low goes outside the BM. Considering its bias, I'd toss the GFS op.. Red flag. weathafella
GFS ensembles at same time as GGEM image... If you roll forward, you realize that about half of the ensemble members give a pretty decent hit for the region.
40/70 Benchmark
Wow.....positive developments. GFS ens and NOGAPS being WEST of GFS OP is defenitelty a rather auspicious sign from the perspective of a storm enthusiast.
