CCPSUSuperstorm2010
18z NAM shows potential for a storm around hours 78-84. Storm is off the coast and looks to miss if one was to extrapolate. A lot of energy in the base of the negatively tilted trough. Could mean a potential big storm for SNE finally. But these situations rarely work out for heavy snowfall. HoarfrostHubb
Maybe for Greenland? Does the energy off the southern coast have any chance if riding up and going ... west???

Not sure, depends upon how the model hands the energy altogether.

CCPSUSuperstorm2010
Arctic jet energy gets infused in the trough, it rounds the negatively tilted trough and looks like based upon extrapolation of the NAM the storm could come further west into SNE with some precipitation. Still need to know more on the 12z NAM tomorrow.

CCPSUSuperstorm2010
I'm just not seeing it. Potential is there, that is all I am going to say now. I have seen these systems not pan out too many times to get excited about this system.

I have seen these systems not pan out too many times to get excited about this system. I believe that's a wave on the passing cold front..but that will probably be well out to sea. One of those waves may retrograde back towards the GOM though, that's what we should be looking out for next week.

CoastalWx
I like how the globals show a decent storm in the southern Plains next week. The 18z gfs has it, but 12z squashed it. Lets see if 18z does the same.

CoastalWx
Euro had it widespread so we'll roll with that Yeah verbatim it has a coating for you and maybe an inch or two in the Berks, but it depends on the evolution of the ULL. Hopefully for you guys, it happens.
