Thanks for the report. I'm at 390' in the valley and an about 1" mostly on elevated surfaces and grass. Crazy to think South Mountain is less than 4 miles from me!

By the time you get to the end of the merge lane getting onto 70 from 40W, it is basically a different world. I couldn't believe the difference that 200-300' made.

very good band coming into DC...heading back out....Loudoun, Upper Moco, etc could get superbanded

It's really picked up here in Clarksburg in the last 5 minutes under that developing band. Visibility down to 3/8 mile in moderate snow. Flakes are now individual dendrites and pins, no clumps. Lowest temp of the year at 31.7F, winds NNW at 7mph.

You and I are definitely in a better spot for stuff coming from the South or East or dropping from the North like this super band stuff from the West I just don't pay attention to

It's starting to pick up here.

Glad you guys to the east are getting in on the action now. Been all snow here since 6 AM only 4.5 on the ground though. Alot of melting on contact going on. Sure is beautiful though. The color of the leaves with the snow is really awesome. Sterling looks like it will get into that heavy band shortly. Enjoy!!

This really is a classic evolution. High rez radar is like drugs. 35dbz over the w 1/3 of moco. I think most of us will get a period of mod to hvy snow before all said and done.

40s in there too now. Would love to see what that is like
