Light rain 38/38...0.31". Started raining around 2PM at 42 degrees, temp gradually fell to the DP.

Looks like light rain here.

Side note: If anyone lives around here and can post updates on my facebook fan page I'd appreciate it so I can have the most current obs. tomorrow morning. I check that more often. Thanks!

Sprinkles/spits of driz/very lt rain here in Dale City with 42 degrees. Hoping to get away with all rain. Dewpoint has risen to 33 degrees which is excellent news

Too damn early for snow

Trees near my home fully leaved

I DON'T NEED OR WANT ANY WET SNOW

C'Mon models, track about 150 miles farther west I don't need any more rain but I'd rather have rain than wet snow

36˚ and light rain. Looks like we might not be getting any accumulating snow here in Blacksburg as it looks like the warm tongue at 850mb is gonna move right over us. Not a single flake so far...

odd, if you click on your zip code in your sig, it says Blacksburg is currently 33

EDIT: looks like the thermometer is over 2000'

Almost all of Blacksburg is over 2000'. I checked 10 minutes before I posted so guess there could have been some cooling since.

41 and light drizzle (elevation 360'). Areas in the county over 1500' are at 34 already.

Yes they are. Not looking that good for low elevations even up to Harrisburgh. Don't see any real cold or dry air ro dynamically cool. Unfortunately this may turn out exactly like we all expected, with major boundry layer issues for everyone below 1000ft.
