CT Rain
12z GFS is an epic snowstorm for most of CT, W/C Mass and SE NY.
Clinch Leatherwood
Thanks Absolutely epic for you two. The euro could be full out "print it and put it in a frame" type of stuff. Euro wins again. GFS is east by more than a little IMO. This is a big concession to the east at this late stage. Awesome news for most of you that were in that borderline..Coastalwx, Weatherfella etc. Kev to Will to Ray should get thumped bigtime. 1 foot plus? Ginx snewx
Better for Ray too. And Kevin. Thanks You always favor Kevin and Ray over me LOL Colder profiles verifying, when the Nam went cold this AM with the Euro it was getting apparent what was transpiring. I am just hoping now the blue bomb is well south of my town, power is a great thing.
moneypitmike
Thanks Yeah--congrats. GFS is still giving me over 1.25. I think ratios should hlep me (never thought I'd say that in October) to compensate some for lower qpf. But, if this continues to slide........ 33.5/
Clinch Leatherwood
Can you imagine if there was no ECMWF? It's amazing how frequently it schools the competition. Yep which is the only reason I want to see the 12z...just in case our models are slow to pick up an east jog. Astounding how good it is, most of the time. mattmfm
Just a crushing defeat for the GFS, though not surprising. 10"+ Kevin, congrats.

MJO812
Looks like the Euro and Nam owned the GFS and the ensembles. Have fun up there.
weatherMA
I think I would go 9-14" if I was making a forecast for here at this point. 9-10" at lower elevations, 12-14" near Will, Dave etc.
OKpowdah
You have a screw fetish It's a screw reality. Whatever. Regardless of what is shown for QPF, there will be a massive subsidence zone outside of the band, so it's all or nothing. It will be nothing here.
