CT Rain
Been out and about this morning. In barber shop now. Nobody believes this will be a big deal since they are focused on paltry snow estimates. Wind is what they should be thinking about. I'm not too concerned about wind in SE CT. I'm thinking gusts to 45 or so but nothing extreme.

Boston-winter08
Ok will do. 12z GFS coming in cooler for eMA again looks like 1000-500 thickness / 540 line never makes it past 128 low placement probably 30 miles east of 06z
Bostonseminole
Is Will the only one that can set him free? Come on - some one step up to his cell, pull out the keys and set him free!!!! not sure but I am sure he can make it happen or help. the images on TWC in Harrisburg are encouraging. wxsniss
and to add support to the east tug and colder model trends: OBS upstream are way off from predicted: snowing and coating grass/cars already in philly suburbs (was not expected until late afternoon at best) snowing in manhattan!! very dynamic nowcast situation! Wx4cast
31/27 here Peru: 30 Chester Hill: 31 Goshen: 32 These temps will help I would think. 36.5 here with DP up to 35 BUT a developing NE backing towards north wind. Looking at MESONET data dews X the Srn Dacks thru CVT are 26-32 (more in the upper 20s to my north X the LG basin). Its OVC with VIRGA to my SW thru S. I think once precip starts X VT and even here it will begin as snow and the cooler dews will begin to advect south..
weathafella
It's possible Logan or nearby areas may have hours of RASN reported...lol. I'm getting bullish for 4 inches for my locale. MET still with an 8 for BOS.

Clinch Leatherwood
GFS was just a smidge east at 6h vs the 0z. A smidge warmer to start over SE NE mainly because it's a touch weaker

Just got word from my brother in Brooklyn NY that they have thunder and snow mixing ing.

powderfreak
I'm getting bullish for 4 inches for my locale. MET still with an 8 for BOS. Isn't MET run on climo and other stats to get the values? Not just model output? I can't believe MOS products aren't showing like a red X or saying, "this is not possible...can not compute". Clinch Leatherwood
GFS at 12z went east of the 0z by a decent amount. It's not a fetish guys, this one is sliding a bit east and the question is whether or not the american guidance is catching up and has the right solution or is this a work in progress and it'll continue to tuck a little east....IE the Euro at 12z bumps east a bit too. BostonWX
Looked good man. Might be a wet snow/mix fir a little while, but then go to town later today and tonight. Thinking 6-9 easy for interior eastern mass Like Bedford-Walpole. I really don't see how they don't get that at this point. I could easily see a solid 3-6 right down to like Weymouth, and 1-3 even to the south coast. Wouldn't shock me if places like Brookline approach 6+
