Ger
It just dawned on me that we very well may see accumulating snowfall tomorrow and I am still without my spotter ID. I know the fine gentleman from the National Weather Service said 2-3 weeks, but hasn't it been that long?

I did not attend but when I took the skywarn class two years ago, it took about a month or so.

usedtobe
Did you have to attend a class and, if so, did they know who you were? Yes, and yes. I attended a class hosted by CWG (the group I write for winter) and the Sterling office. It was a very large class with around 200 people in it.
