Torrential rains and hail up to 0.5" under the purple returns. From what i can see from lawns, they needed this rain. Wouldnt be surprised if 1.5" fell. A lot probably has to go right, or wrong depending on how you look at it. There has to be very little clouds and the humidity can't get too high to keep the temps down for starters. If it's going to be this damn hot anyway, might as well hit 100. The difference between 98 and 100 is very small so might as well hit something we rarely see in this area. north pgh Posted July 7, 2012 Author Share Posted July 7, 2012 I just drove back from Erie and hit strong storms from on I-79 Grove City down to Rt 422 between 3:30 and 4:00. Some leaves and branches on the road with heavy rain so I am sure the winds were strong. Nothing here in the North Hills 92.8 and dry. Storm popped up at PNC Park and heading south. I can hear the thunder to my south but the sun is back out and shining brightly. South Hills should be getting hammered pretty good right now.
