The next chance of rain is Sunday Night and Monday, not looking like a lot of rain either. After this cool down, the heat comes roaring back. Right now, low 90s for Fridaya and Saturday, but could be higher as the models trying to agree on the extreme heat potential. The Midwest, lower Ohio Valley could see temps above 100°F. I think that KPIT is going to have to up their forecast a bit for tomorrow. They were only I think forecasting 90 today, and we pretty well rocketed past that. meatwad Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 The Low was 80 this morning, making this the first 80 degree low since 1930(dust bowl era) and the warmest June Low. It's already 85 outside and it's 9 am. NWS increased the high today to 95 and they think thats too low. usally these kinds of temps this early mean temps around 100 are possible.
