djr5001
as of now, not vry impressive here. though its been snowing for a long time, the grass is barely covered..32 degrees. you should come around colonial park mall near 81/83... massive flakes right now... at least 4" here
AlexP
I came home to no DirecTV. I could go out there and brush off the dish, but I tried that a couple years ago and knocked it out of alignment. I'll just stick to the internet. Huge flakes in midtown HBG. The tree in front of my house has lost a branch and is sagging like an elderly adult film star.

hckyplayer8
Just got back from Lookout Point, which has a elevation of 1200ft. Measured multiple times in the grass by the radio tower and came up with between 10-11 inches. Pics in a bit.

AlexP
You have power? I hate you! (not really but we live like 6 blocks apart!) I'm in one of the newer midtown developments (circa 1992) and I think our power lines are underground. I don't think I've ever lost power for an extended period in the 7 years I've owned the house. Eskimo Joe
I do believe it is snowing at a heavier rate than any time during the 2009 - 2010 season. This is just unreal. I lost power for a few moments too. This what happens when your 500mb trough goes negative: Temperature 31 Dew Point

I don't think I've ever lost power for an extended period in the 7 years I've owned the house. We live in Capitilol Heights, house built in 2006, everything underground. And still lost power. It did just come back though!

paxpatriot
Power is out in Waynesboro, and roads are impassible. Did not see a single plow out there, so they must be asleep at the wheel. Had a wedding to go to in Hanover, and could not make it over Rt.16 or 66 through MD to get there. Trees down on roads and lines down everywhere. Be safe folks.
