CT Rain
impressive. Your wind fetish would be in for a disappointment. This is exactly the run I wanted. A bit weaker, a smidge to the east. Perfection
CT Rain
Looks like 1-1.5" QPF for most of SNE.
CoastalWx
Outside the benchmark. About identical to 00z though it's a bit weaker. Yeah the weaker low actually keeps 850 temps up a degree or so, but a little se of the GFS. Quite the backlash on this one too.
TheCloser24
What do snow amounts look like for inland CT on the 12z EURO?

CoastalWx
It bombs after 06z though so wind and CCB are very impressive.
CT Rain
What do snow amounts look like for inland CT on the 12z EURO? About a foot? A bit less in the valleys with some minor mixing at the onset.

Perfection i can't see the low level wind field but i'd be surprised if it doesn't have a similar look - though probably not as ridiculous as that GFS run. Boston-winter08
It bombs after 06z though so wind and CCB are very impressive. how is the 1000-500 mb thickness in eastern sections?...that's what i've been watching back further west on the GFS

Yup exactly. Not GFS or NAM like in terms of wind and CCB but still very sizable and an incredible storm. Couldn't have asked for a better run. If this had been kissing MTP i would have taken a toaster bath.
leesun
Looks like a perfect track on the Euro for the CT valley to get into the CCB for a while! Looks like 1-1.5" QPF for most of SNE.
CoastalWx
I don't know if I completely buy the evolution...I guess I would have expected it to come in a little more intense, but perhaps upstream kicker involved with booting it out.

No doubt HWW criteria... but it probably shaves 10% off that LLJ lol. That's probably a good thing to be honest

CoastalWx
how is the 1000-500 mb thickness in eastern sections?...that's what i've been watching back further west on the GFS Well if we were 1000' it would be snow. But, I think BOS wold be rain or a mix until maybe 02z or 03z here. You probably would be snow near late aftn on?
