winterwx21 Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 Lee Goldberg put out an early forecast, saying possibly a coating to 2 inches for the city with potential of 6 inches not too far to the north and west. I think that's a good forecast. Given the history of the city struggling to ever see more than 1 inch in October, I would not go with the more significant snowfall that some of the models are showing for the city. I would put more weight towards history at this point. If much bigger accumulations happen in the city, no one can say it was a terrible forecast because it has never happened before.
