michsnowfreak
After a bitter cold week of traces and dustings of snow, we finally got the first synoptic snowfall today, thanks to a warm front thats sending temps above freezing lol. About an inch of snow fell (JUST shy of it), but with the nearly 10-1 ratio powder, roads were a mess and quite a few lots now have plow piles. Today was the 16th day with some sort of snow falling, but the season total sits at just 1.5" so far.

Thanks. yup, been a weird start to winter, although nothing alarming for me. KLOU has 2.0", KDTW has 1.6". You have more snow than much of New England as well. A slow start has NOT AT ALL been a bad omen in recent winters. That only takes one big storm to get us there.
