Bob Chill Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 I'm getting very close to pulling the plug on any hope of any real winter pattern that lasts more than 3 days or so this winter. I'm not really bummed out about it or anything because it's just snow and I do like spending alot of time outdoors. I actually called Jason about the CWG piece to tone it down and say the most likely scenario was nothing or dusting instead of a dusting but after talking we decided to let it run as it was originally written. The gfs likes it and give BWI 0.056" all in the form of snow and gives dc 0.045 as snow. Oddly enough it likes Ji and the western guys the least. It will be interesting to see which model will win out. I don't trust snow with cold fronts but you pretty much have to mention a chance of rain changing to snow in a forecast.
