Well I guess it's not always prudent to just go by the law of averages. :) Crazy things can happen. I am going to Europe 10/31-15 and my thought was I won't miss much because we almost never get a lot before 11/15.

So here I got 4 inches today before my trip.... even if Saturday's misses me.

Lol, wasn't it not too long ago I posted the 10/4/87 totals after you said October was a throw away month?

BOS even gets snow on the Euro....once the winds turn north, they rip

Ok Will....this is not a hold your feet to the fire or my request for a prediction or anything like that. I know it's 210am and this is just one of those "can it be happening questions"....do you think that Boston could possibly get clobbered?

I guess I do because thinking back to 11/11/87 we got hit pretty hard. I think mainly it isn't so much that it cannot happen it's just that the setups with this much cold air aloft only come every 20 or 25 years and everything can only come together every 50 or 100.

I def think Boston could get a period where they get smoked....Logan airport on the water will probably struggle, but someone like Jerry on the western border of Boston and Brookline could get 4-6" while Logan is getting slop.

wasn't that true on 12Z and last night's 0Z too?

any trends apparent vs. prior euro runs?

truly incredible... how many historic events will we experience this year? agree with messenger's speculation about volatility, something is seriously up.

thanks for the play by play will... i'm surprised not more are up to watch, but i guess we have a long epic weekend on the way.

W Ct. with elevation should do very well.

I'm still worried that I'm just slightly too far west, and slightly too low (275') to really cash in on this. Per the GFS I'm still golden, per the NAM I'm in trouble. Per the Euro, looks like a tossup. The Pioneer Valley can be really fickle for early and late-season events.

Ekster...that Atthole bet is looking better for 60/40 in favor of your old house. Still close because you get latitude and diurnal advantage...but its close now. Attlehole prob beats you with a megaband late Sat night on the Euro.

so Attlehole gets 11 and I get 8. I'm not gonna take a toaster bath before halloween, lol.

You wont live it down if Attleboro of all places beats you in an October bomb. Your old lawn getting pasted with 10" while you get 4" of slop.

Going by that 48 hour map on the previous page, it looks more wrapped up along the Jersey Coast than the NAM I think..... though maybe it ejects more eastward than on the GFS?

We need a pic of your head, so we can add you to the electrical bath posts based on this run.
