earthlight
I wonder if we'll be able to at least see it in the sky as it burns up.
Thundersnow12
Ok im pretty sure I saw this....a fast flying green object in the southern sky about 45 mins ago. It was moving way too fast to be a plane and too big to be your average sized meteor.
LakeEffectKing
At least if we find a chunk, we can keep it or put it up on ebay!

turtlehurricane
It landed somewhere over eastern Asia or the Pacific ocean based on the time it re-entered the atmosphere. Details may be slow to arise.
aslkahuna
The window given for the actual reentry occurred after the last pass over the western US at 0103Z so my bet is on the South Pacific Ocean. The referenced pass was on the ascending branch of the orbit. Spaceweather.com places reentry at 0156Z on the approach to descending node with reentry apparently over Thailand. It was moving way too fast to be a plane and too big to be your average sized meteor. I actually saw this exact same thing but it was Thursday night. I chalked it up to a meteor, though like you said it appeared larger than normal and was bright green... strange.
