powderfreak
I like the low clouds/moisture banked up against the ridge line in the Catskills... east of there there's just enough downsloping to mix out the low level moisture. Same thing down wind of the adirondacks... eastern Champlain Valley has a north-south line of clearing there.
ski MRG
Thanks man! I hope to be in. As best as I can I'll be around as I am currently limited to typing with 1 hand and a finger or two for the next 2months! Liking the fall pattern so far potential for some block buster Miller A or Miller B systems. BTW Here's why I am typing with one hand: Finally took a swing at Caporizzo? Hope you heal quickly. Lots of Debbie Downers in here wrt to the Fall pattern. I, however, feel we're in for a thrashing. Accumulating snow at the top of Mansfield right now...upslope rain in the valley. 47 -RN here 33 -SN up top Nice! As it should be. My ski jones is now full blown. Can't wait to get on the snow. ski MRG
46/39, a high of 49 (45 @ 2 k), looks like we drop below freezing again tonight. The sun never made an appearance today as the cloud mantle remained unbroken with occasional brief showers. Soon those will be snow showers.
