Baroclinic Zone
OT has made you very negative, too many hurty hurtz Chest thumping about one snow is dumb. I don't need to see more snow than anyone else. I just enjoy it moreso than any other precip. Its very poetic.
ski MRG
OT has made you very negative, too many hurty hurtz It's true. I have to remember this is family. Ahh, I see you have snow envy. My life does not live or die by how much snow I receive. Enjoy all the snow that you may see. Lol, I envy AK snow, NE snow not so much as I see plenty. Just kidding around Bob, though I do think this Winter may be trying for the CP but take that with a grain of salt.
dryslot
Euro tonight should do it. Todays 12z euro ensm were pretty much in line with the op. Obviously not cast in stone but tough to beat that. Yeah, If the euro has it again and the ensembles as well, It may be time if not a 0z, 12z tomorrow

CapturedNature
Watched Ch 9 (Manchester NH) at 6pm. I was surprised they didn't even mention any snow threat for northern zones for late week. Only that tomorrow nights cold front could end in a few flurries Tuesday AM in the mountains. On a side note I hate trying to compare the models runs on the new NCEP site. On the old site I could just set up tabs for model runs and compare side by side. Much harder now! Couple other musings.....seems to have been cloudy up here forever and temps in a very narrow range for days, 40F to 53F! FWIW, I created some pages to compare the NAM & GFS model runs. Just mouse over the hour from the different models: http://www.stormmonitoring.com/namgfs_0Z.html http://www.stormmonitoring.com/namgfs_06Z.html http://www.stormmonitoring.com/namgfs_12Z.html http://www.stormmonitoring.com/namgfs_18Z.html HTH

snowNH
Maybe Weds night I will stay up for it but probably not For bigger threats during the real season I can do it I don't even stay up for the GFS on weeknights right now... I barely make it for the end of the NAM. When the GFS starts at 1030 in a couple of weeks, my bedtime gets later and later depending on how far out the threat is. dryslot
Last week of golf coming up I think. Played yesterday and today, It could be the last week, Our course is closed tomorrow, They are punching the greens which i usually play on mondays, Pretty tough getting more then 9 in after work as its dark around 6:15 pm, If it snows late week, They will shut down, They only go to the 2nd weekend in November anyways so its almost time....... The ironic thing is that this is probably the best golf I've played all year. I'm not even worrying about my scores anymore, I'm just playing to play pretty much cause I know we only have about a week left. Its a pretty easy sport if you just relax and pretty much don't think. On Saturday I was 1 under after 6 holes, but had to quit cause of rain.

Right now, It sucks because of all the rain we have had, We have an older course that has a clay base, Lot of plugged balls and fat shots, Anymore rain and we are cooked never mind snow.. Staying up for 00z models during big threats is part of the fun of the lead-up to the storm for me. I stay up for the gfs 100% of the time, but the euro I usually only stay up for sometimes. It's funny because most people make up sleep during snow days but for me, the more snow, the less sleep.
