moneypitmike
lol...I've been doing the same thing. My snow blower wouldn't start after the January 12th storm. Thankfully it worked for that storm but it wouldn't start after that. I sent it in for repairs and got it back in March lol. I've been starting it ever since because I guess the combination of gas and engines these days are so bad that they almost routinely fail if you don't put preservative in them and run them every once and a while, they will fail. I've learned that there are certain brands to avoid and stores not to buy from. Hint: the brands they sell at the big box stores aren't always made by the company on the label. I'll agree we probably won't need them this week, but it would be nice to see our first T. Mine ended up merely being a sparkplug replacement. Of course, the engine design made it nearly impossible to swap it out. But, got it fixed in time.

CoastalWx
Good detail on those maps too. Looking at the 850 temps, you can see how the dynamic cooling is having an impact on those temps with a little area of colder temps where lift is strongest in the BOS area down to PVD. It looks weenie-ish compared to what I gathered from the WSI closeups. I'd have a hard time thinking we get 3"+ here on the non-snow maps.

CoastalWx
Well the EC ensembles having a low at the end of the week give the idea of a storm some more traction, but there is still time for it to go poof. Gonna need another 24 hrs I think.

HIPPYVALLEY
54/39 P. Cloudy Great day, finally got some much needed yard work done. Took the yard up from the country ghetto look to respectable rural. Gave the snow thrower a good once over, changed the gas and let her rip for a few minutes. That should ensure no snow until December.
