Sunny and Warm Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 It's not terrible...probably a degree/two colder than reality...which isn't bad. RDG is the real outlier so far. NAM had PTW, ABE, LNS, and RDG all snow by 8 AM. It's earlier than a lot of us thought but not much later than the colder model (NAM) was running. I haven't had time to review the 00z runs, but on the NAM 12z run yesterday, it had ABE transitioning from rain to snow from 8am to 11am. I only had three hour screens, so it may have been closer to 8am than 11am. So, if it's transitioning now at 8:15 in the morning, I'm tending to side with the NAM's colder solution.
