Sort of two things going on. The warm conveyor belt of moisture going on well to the south, coming north...and then a little frontogenesis and more WAA stuff with the 850 and 700 lows over NJ and extending into SNE. That feature might help bring the rains into western mass today while eastern areas get clipped with the warm conveyor stuff. Tough to say how far west the warm conveyor stuff comes.

Could be a big QPG bust for the GFS today.

Kev, most areas will have widespread rain today. More will come up and develop to the south as well.

Yeah prob 1-2 inches ill be the norm for most today.

Leaves are peaking in CT now. All my Oaks are now brown or yellow..No green left. Disaster leaf cleanup season has begun
