CoastalWx
Could be a big QPG bust for the GFS today. Kev, most areas will have widespread rain today. More will come up and develop to the south as well.
CoastalWx
Sort of two things going on. The warm conveyor belt of moisture going on well to the south, coming north...and then a little frontogenesis and more WAA stuff with the 850 and 700 lows over NJ and extending into SNE. That feature might help bring the rains into western mass today while eastern areas get clipped with the warm conveyor stuff. Tough to say how far west the warm conveyor stuff comes. dendrite
we are going to have what the gfs shows for precip in about 15 minutes here.. 12z NAM caved toward the GFS. It may end up verifying somewhere near the middle of an EC/NAM vs GFS compromise.
