Ginx snewx
These numbers match pretty well with my "everyone gets 20% under Ginx' numbers" guess. And his map places Jeff's 115" just west of MBY while moving my 132" about 100 miles NNE. That location would've been a much shorter drive home as I left VimTootLand about 6 PM last evening. I told ya the map was messed up bro just thrown up there. Hey 20% less is your guess? Throw out some some numbers.

HoarfrostHubb
reasons? Well, for one, it has been really wet the past few months. I know it has been explained to me that this is expected. I am concerned things swing to the dry side at some point. Hopefully like it mid-April but December-March would stink. Some of the posts I have read about the things going on over in Siberia, etc look less than stellar, but it is still early. Been darned warm for a while, despite what MRG says. I'm a worrier... make me see the light. I have no clue about Ninas, MJO, etc... Do you have a checklist that you go through to set up your projection? I think we'll have a pretty good idea in a few weeks what the front end will look like....of course the trend has been for an early end, but trends are made to be broken. We'll see.... Yes it starts with NAO and ends with NAO or something like that. Precip wise I would not worry with the Atlantic Tripole alive and kicking, we are right on schedule in my mind. Solar, NAO, AO, Fall pattern, natural signals. I can just picture the evolution in my head as we get deeper in Novie and Early Dec. March has me baffled. They should move Halloween to March since it is so trick-or-treat The issue with me and March this year is I could see it very well matching up with 2001 which was sick up your way but with the trend of decadal Marches being meh for the most part it is hard to believe it could happen. I do see a big thaw short week period. Upcoming winter sort of reminds me of 95/96, never ending winter with a great thaw. If March/April rocks then CNE NNE could be near record setting territory and based on how crazy the weather has been, I would not be surprised in the least. Ginx snewx
Maybe time to start sniffing out early ENSO trends for late winter, now? IMHO not an issue, what happens to the AO really is key. If the PV retreats like it has for years in March and strengthens without a strato warming we are in the same old ballgame. Crank up a -AO and send up some unstable trop origin air and big Marches rock

Crank up a -AO and send up some unstable trop origin air and big Marches rock We've had a couple of SW events the past few years which haven't produced squat, so I think we should look elsewhere, just MHO. Maybe if this Nina gets modulated early and its atmospheric influence goes as well, we can cash in on a cycle of the AO? Fun stuff and it's easy to get ahead of ourselves about what is right in front...
