you're focussing on the wrong batch. The convection will fire west of that blob you are looking at.

The Euro slides that area east but develops storms here tonight to the west of that batch iike the NAM and GFS

Some more precip breaking out over the delmarva, even some convection it appears. The last few bands to come through were far more tropical than the rains this morning.

true...i see the banding and the pop up convection. looking at danbury airport data, humidity is at 98% with dewpoint in the lower 60s. pretty tropical for late oct.

JFK is already at 1.13".

LGA: .92"

EWR: .81"

At least another .25"-.50" is coming.

Rain adds up quickly if you're under the heavy echoes.

LGA reported .33" in only 1 hour tonight.
