Northern Lake George

Well, the pesky upper level low did its best to washout my trip. Still ended up with about 2 days with sunshine (out of 6). As expected the fall foliage was lacking especially in the lower elevations due to the mild weather and lack of sunshine, I did see some color above about 1,500 ft. as I drove through the Adirondacks and visited the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mtn., NY.

First 2 pictures were from the resort we stayed at in Hague, NY (just south of Ticonderoga)

Picture #3 was from Mt. Defiance near Fort Ticonderoga

Picture #4 was from the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain, NY

Awesome pics! I believe that resort is right near where are friends always get a house for a week during the summer...I believe it is just off to the right.

We did the Saratoga/Lake George trip summer of 2010. We went up toHague, NY as well where some friends were and spent the day on the lake also. Also, went para-sailing, went to the Saratoga Race track, and went to the six flags in that area. Pretty fun.

Thanks. I definetely want to make another trip up that way during summer months or very early autumn when I can comfortably enjoy the Lake which was beautiful and crystal clear. I was so impressed.
