Damage In Tolland
Tailwind up yer fanny? That is amazing The breeze was so refreshing and kept us from overheating..I was soaked..but the cool breeze made it nice. I would have done 3:35-3:40 if my legs didn't cramp up. I mean these were like labor pains.

nzucker
12z GFS has -4C for us Fri morning. That's nothing impressive for this time of year, but if we can decouple it should be a solid freeze. It's been so warm that even normal temperatures will feel cold to us; I was so excited to get back up north for a New England fall by moving to Rindge, and it's been an absolute disappointment in terms of the weather with the mild/muggy fall and lack of vivid foliage...at least the job is working out well though, I guess I can put that first until winter arrives! NWS has 40/53 for Thursday night and Friday in Rindge, so it looks as if cloud cover may be an issue with that front in getting the Monadnocks to radiate. 12z GFS also has a large coastal forming with the mean trough well to our west, so I'd expect the coldest anomalies to be in the Tennessee Valley and OH Valley, certainly not NNE. In the longer range, however, the 12z GFS brings the PV off Northern Greenland and more towards Hudson Bay, which might set up a colder pattern for New England with more chilly air in Eastern Canada. Even if the Pacific refuses to cooperate with the continuation of the +EPO pattern we've had all fall, this could be a means of keeping the N Tier closer to normal. Definitely seems as if the torch may be coming to a close:

If you have access to one it really does make a world of difference. After I sat in one I didn't have to walk down stairs backwards anymore.
