Purely tropical airmass!! This is unbelievable, and what a torchathon next week ahead of the cutter, growing season into mid November this year............sure could be for a lot of us.

Unbelievable how awful the GFS is, its backing off the cold in the extended each run, Euro is King and King is Euro.

The 0z ECM isn't that warm; it brings in a decent trough to the East next week as the PNA goes positive. It's not a brutally cold pattern because the PV is still stuck over Greenland with little cold air flow into Canada, but I don't see a monster torch coming either. I do agree, however, that the models are backing off the intensity of the cold shot; some earlier runs of the GFS had the -10C coming near New England in the longer range, and that seems to be disappearing. Euro at Day 10 is now a mild look with a -PNA and SW flow.

Thanks dude.

Looks like dews get up in the 66-69 range today. Just nasty..Thankfully that all clears outta here tonight.

Looks like winds gusting 50-60 mph tomorrow with flow well aligned from top to bottom and sun..so mixing will be maximized. probably see HWW and advsories go up tonight.

It''ll help tp keep it a little cooler tomorrow for the marathon..just hope we're not running into that wind

50-60? Maybe 30-40 Max

The day I have to get up early to finish a work project is the day that my daughter decides to sleep in. Ah, cruel fate......

At least the work project's done and I can start some enjoyable posting/reading/browsing.

55.9/55, .20" in the bucket.

Shouldn't you be out raking leaves?

If this were winter...weenies would want the euro solution next week..lol.

GFS has an inside runner whereas the euro has one weak low moving through and then a cstl developing way offshore. The euro ensembles are sort of in between with a low developing and moving over eastern areas.
