Mr Torchey
Dreamin'. Looks like normal Autumn like weather to me. Nothing says summer like highs in the 50's. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Wednesday: A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 59. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Wednesday Night: A chance of rain. Man early and middle week next week are going to absolutely torch ahead of that giant lakes cutter, severe weather and record highs, the beat goes on................................................................................. Too much go,go,go energy to get blue. I'll golf somewhere right up until the day I can ski. Making good use of the unusual mild weather to batten down the hatches. Viscious Winter on the way. ORH_wxman
i wish someone here had seen their first flakes already...i think i might go into a depression if things don't start feeling more wintery, soon I think a lot of the northern hills (MA/S NH) saw their first flakes on 10/23 last year. That's when we had some flurries. The rest saw them on 11/8.

Yeah its very rare for anyone in SNE to see flakes before 10/15. Its about 60-70% of the time it happens in the high hills in the 2nd half of October sometime. For the coastal plain, it usually in November. I don't see any obvious chances in the next 10-14 days, so everyone might have to wait until November this year. But we'll see, we might get a chance at the end of the month for some flakes.

moneypitmike
Lightning and some distant rumbles off to my SE at 4:30 this morning. Guessing it was about 8 miles away. Now rain (just started back up in the last 1/2 hour or so). Up extra ealry this morning to finish some work stuff before heading to Towson later this morning. Looking forward to that, but wish I could take the strong winds with me. I'll return to foliage oblivion. Good luck in the marthon, Kevin!!!! Toasty 55.2/55, with .55" since the rain started two nights ago. Unless a leaf got caught in my bucket, .07" since midnight.
