HIPPYVALLEY
51.7/51, .37" in the bucket. I've got .3" Glad to see most of the heavier stuff go east of here. Heh, hopefully that's not the trend for the winter.
Mr Torchey
61/55 getting humid, radar has nadda, nothing to the south or southwest as far as the eye can see, GFS really really has blown lately something to remember come winter. Very mild overnights setting up massive departures today and tomorrow, hoping we can break out in some sun and really spike temps!

I think so too Scooter, we are warm sectored, I think we can also get some sun in here to increase instability, tomorrow looks to be an all out mega torch with ridiculous overnight lows and highs in the 70s

Enjoy your back to back +10 to +20 days. Whats your normal high 54-55 at most.........what an all out torch for the gentle hills of the eastern slant of Mass. Your cold fall has been one of the biggest epic phailures I have ever witnessed, go look around the house I am almost positive the tulips have come up, but on a brighter note, looks like you will be playing golf well into the holiday season:)

CT Rain
NAM/GFS still disagree on the amount of lift to move through here on Friday. GFS is quite wet because it develops a strong(er) jet streak to the west of SNE with some fairly impressive UL divergence over us for a 6 hour period or so during the day. The NAM develops the strongest forcing a bit later and gives the morst rain to our northeast. The more muted signal results in less than impressive QPFover SNE. My golf course closes in 2 weeks. You see, by Halloween here, everyone is hunkering down for Winter's onslaught. I know living down south like you and Blizz do, it's hard to imagine life in a cold, snowy place. I'm sure you'll be walking barefoot on the beach X-mas eve but up here we'll be skiing and sledding and having fun in a Winter wonderland.

ski MRG
.........your course is making a poor decision financially. Enjoy the mud today, I know I will. Not really, I'm one of only 5-6 people still playing. I try to play 9 everyday after work and for the last 10 days I've had the course all to myself. The rain sucks as the course was just starting to dry out. Hopefully the rain quits this afternoon as I have meetings from late morning through early afternoon then I'll have a few hours that I can 'get away". I can't wait to post snow pics for you. It may the closest you'll get to real snow this year.

How repulsive. I like trolling you lowlanders with snow pics but what goes around comes around. My friend Pete, like a brother really, loves to taunt me. Here's a pic from his back deck taken yesterday. The Alaska Range (Denali, etc..) looking spiffy. His ski season is already in full swing. Can't wait to move there.
