moneypitmike
A ton of info....gotta give props to his work effort. Looks like he's expecting a good one here. Yup. Lots of qpf and normal temps = a lot of sleet for some. 70.6/

HIPPYVALLEY
Wow, that's a fantastic, in depth presentation. That's going to take a while for my little weenie brain to read and partially digest. Certainly lays the groundwork for some potentially exciting weather watching in NE. I like the odds for NW Ma.

Itunis
Only handful of spelling errors to go with the obnoxious capitalization, quite an effort from him. But in all seriousness once you get past the self-gloss it's a pretty detailed forecast. Nothing too weird, either.
CT Rain
Nice writeup by DT. Seems like many are harping on a very cold December. Seeing how strong the Nina gets and whether we can get some solid high latitude blocking will likely make the difference.

CoastalWx
Let's flip it in late Oct/early Nov Well there will be some sort of a cool down, but I don't think it will qualify as a flip. I guess we'll see as we get closer.

CoastalWx
Shabbs has a CT Blizz style December outlook. In a sick way, it would be funny to torch right through Novie and have the weenies claim winter is over...only to be weenie deep in snow by Christmas. I'd be content with a crazy Dec and early Jan winter that turns torch for late jan/feb. Then 2 blockbuster march snowstorms.

I hate any torch in the winter, but a nice March would make it forgettable. I always said end winter with a bang, and it makes drizzle disaster season not so bad. I love extreme weather... not really extreme temperatures.
Damage In Tolland
Shabbs has a CT Blizz style December outlook. Yeah I've seen it..along with a near normal/snowier than normal jan and feb. We've lost March as a winter month with the new climate..so we need to maximize the 3 core months

CT Rain
You have any thoughts about this winter? Not really... haven't looked at much myself just from what I've heard here and from some others things feel decent. Would like to see the Nina not strengthen much next month or two and hang out in the weak category.

I never remember December's like what we've experienced.....ever. Growing up, I was used to December featuring mixed events and it was more January and February...heck even March where we cashed in. OKpowdah
As much as I miss March snow storms, DJF matters most to me. By February I don't care as much about temperatures, but in January I would much rather have 10 degrees and dry than 50 degrees. It's winter, and it oughta feel like winter
