+10 to +15 above normal pattern looks to continue into mid December now.; No cold air in Canada, no snow in December,-PNA for a good month or more, +NAO, Weeklies and ensembles warm from beginning to end...no worries ..it's only Nov 13th..Things are sure to flip soon :arrowhead: It's always warm in November..we shouldn't be seeing any signs of a pattern change if we want cold, snowy Dec

Man do I salute you. :weenie:

Hey no reason to worry..it's mid November..it's not supposed to be cold. We're not supposed to be seeing the beginning o f the pattern change taking place globally for a cold Dec. Don't worry..we're fine

Sounds like you are worried?

Hey, maybe December sucks...I don't know...but I do know it can change in a hurry. If in 2-3 weeks from now it continues to suck...maybe we need to worry. I just see no point in doing so.

Things certainly can change very quickly. So what there isn't a whole ton of cold built up yet but we're starting to see some build up. It's only November 13th. Winter/cold doesn't have to be in place as soon as it hits December 1st.

Remember last year everything sucked until January, although the December pattern showed major promise. I think we'll see the same this year and we will see a pretty solidly negative NAO be the norm for the winter...SSTA's around Greenland are supportive as well as QBO/solar.

It really wasn't until mid month before it become more favorable, but we did have a cold snap right after the 2nd of the month.

I don't even care too much about how cold the pattern looks, just as long as the pattern looks active and has potential...well as long as we aren't seeing storms that are cutting to the west of us. As we go through winter as long as we aren't in an above-average temperature pattern we really don't need a great deal of cold air to get snow...just average temps would be fine for most of us.

lol...glad to see you are finally on board.

Exactly..everything looks great..It's mid Nov..it's supposed to be as mild as April is..who would ever expect a colder than normal pattern in mid-late November heading for Dec 1 and beyond..No reason to worry..I't 'llstart to show up sometime later in Dec or Jan. All systems go

Fists violently in the air. Kids running to mommy, crying and asking what is wrong with Dad.

he should just set up the slip & slide out front...let the kids have some fun in the sun/warmth. i mean, it's only november...might as well enjoy the warm season while it's still here.

I smell a photo shop opportunity.

In all seriousness....we may very week be bumping these posts in a few weeks. I just don't see the need to panic right now.
