Yeah nude frisbee for sure. I do think there are some signals of more troughing at the end of the month. Not necessarily saying it will be cold, but these 80s might be bye bye until Spring. One would think, but I have heard this many times this fall already (not from you)......I think another torch might be in the cards just after the 1st of November we shall see. Allenson
Cookin' right along out there at 71F. Just came in from mowing--hopefully the last. Worked up quite a sweat. Time for a swim. It does look like we try to cool off at the end of the month. So we got that goin' for us.

Considering 11/2/1950 is about the only day there has been 80+ in the region I think it is safe to say there won't be 80s in November.

moneypitmike
Taking a lawn break--nice day. 67.1/54 Just noticed--managed to go from the warmest to one of the coolest. Looks like whatever forcefiield there is over the Pit and a couple of stations just to the south is about to give way to a spike into the 70's.. Baroclinic Zone
Called it a day in the yard working. Chainsaws ftl. Got a couple trees down before all hell "broke" loose. Gorgeous out. Sitting on the deck enjoying an oktoberfest and lovin' it. Lawn looks fantastic. Mid to upper 70s would be my guess on temps.

Lawn only 1/2 mowed ftl Front is done, ftw Need to get a new mower ftl (actually, that's kind of ftw, since the one I have is only 42" and I'd like to get a 50" or 54"). 69.2/

Fell your pain. I'm inept when it comes to power tools. The chain came off the saw and I tried to fix. Lol. You should look into those stand up professional mowers you see. Would make short work of the estate you have there. moneypitmike
Chains are easy. I call my wife--she's a wiz at those. No estate--land is cheap in GC. The "estate" is held together with duct tape and a prayer! lol
HoarfrostHubb
73F/46 attm High of 75 We went over to Hamilton Orchards in New Salem. What a disaster. Apples were awful. Heavy rains have mad for a terrible year. They were only charging $10 per bag for pyo, but they were not worth it. Bought some donuts and bagged apples and picked 2 pints of raspberries. We then bought some boots (ski and snowboard ones) at WaWa

HIPPYVALLEY
Beautiful day and now evening here. 68/56 Go to 72 today. Ground that was dry yesterday is wet today so the dry, warm air must be evaporating moisture up through the soil surface? Doubt we hit the forecast 80 for tomorrow but still some good late season warmth.
